FINE ARTS / ZSUZSA G. HELLER

PERMANENT EXHIBITION – Open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission free.

TESTIMONIAL

Zsuzsa G. Heller (born in Budapest on September 27, 1953) brings clay to life, making it speak and convey messages. Her works span a broad spectrum, from the sculptor's creative forms to the ceramic artist's functional objects. Her art is characterized by recurring motifs within a few individual themes. The Babel series, Memories of the Sea, and her small sculptures create a harmonious unity within their respective themes through their message and unique form.

G. Heller Zsuzsa has created outdoor sculptures and fountains, ranging from "human-scale" objects to large ceramic works. A significant piece in her oeuvre is her installation "Lifeline - In Memory of the Departed," which serves as an extraordinary, artistic memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.

A video of the installation, along with her ceramic and porcelain works, can be viewed on her website: www.heller-zsuzsa.hu

Since 2016, visitors to our gallery have been able to explore G. Heller Zsuzsa's art through a permanent exhibition at Csigó Malom.

Since 2018, she has been a board member and visual arts curator of the Csigó Malom Cultural and Artistic Center Foundation.

From May 8 to June 4, 2024, G. Heller Zsuzsa's works can be seen at her solo exhibition "Mysterious Intuitions" at the KAS Gallery in Budapest.

Finissage on June 6, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
